In Head 2 Heart, students in 6th – 8th grade prepare for Confirmation by learning the nuts-n-bolts of the Lutheran faith (head) while practicing how to live out that faith (heart) through service and fellowship opportunities.
6th grade students attend twice a month in addition to a home-based component. 7th-8th graders meet every Monday from 7:00-8:30 PM September through April.
Monday gatherings include a fun, whole-group game, teaching time, and small group breakout sessions where the kids get to make deeper connections with each other and dive into discussions about what they learned for the night.
