At St Matthew, we want our kids and families to build strong relationships with each other and Christ as we grow together as “Followers of Jesus, Wherever We Are.” We consider it a privilege to serve your children in a fun and spiritually engaging environment and are extremely thankful for the partnership of parents and volunteers who share in this calling to help them grow in their faith.Â
What Does a Sunday Look Like?
J.A.M. – Jesus And Me
(ages 3 – 5th grade)Â
Our age-appropriate Children’s Worship, JAM (Jesus and Me), meets every Sunday (summer too!) during both worship services. Kids learn to live their faith as “Followers of Jesus” through daily points and Bible verses, awesome praise music, experiments, games, and a Bible story applied to their everyday lives.Â
Children’s Music:Â
During our Sunday School education time, all kids participate in 15 minutes of music time, learning songs to lead during worship as well as preparing for the Children’s Christmas Musical, a highlight every year for families and our congregation. We also have an Angel Bells group that meets and plays for worship periodically.
