Beyond the Breakwater Workshop
You may remember a number of opportunities last year to visit Messiah Lutheran Church in Midland to learn about the Beyond the Breakwater ministry model for community outreach. If you did not have a chance to attend one of the workshops and would still like to see these ministries in action, Pastor Meyer will be taking a group on Tuesday, January 20. As we consider the future of our ministry here at St. Matthew we look to a Church that is doing things differently with an outward focus that is making a big impact in their community.
The workshop is a day long discipleship opportunity where we will see faith in action and lives transformed as we learn about what it means as a church to bravely go “beyond the breakwater.” This opportunity is open to individuals 9th grade–adult.
