Today was the final day of the Symposium. The morning began with Indian Matins and my final session. After lunch, we held an hour and a half of Q&A time. It was interesting to hear their questions—some related to the material we presented, some just about pastoral practice and other theological subjects.

After the Q&A and one short session, the final Vespers took place—I preached. Then we were presented gifts and honors. Unfortunately, I don’t have any pictures of that, yet. But it was very kind and thoughtful!

This boy’s name is Finny! I told him I have a son named Phineas, that we call Finny! Had to get a picture.
A look at the lunch tables. The green shirt folks are serving food as they pass by.
Or they’ll serve water.
The caterers bring these massive pots of rice and other food into the dining hall. The green shirts come by here to fill up their buckets and serve more.
This is where they cook those massive pots.
The cooks!

At the end of the day we were invited to dinner in someone’s home. A few of the pastors and their families attended. It was a warm welcome, and the food just kept coming!
