On Sunday, May 21 we will give thanks to God for Pastor Rob’s ministry at St Matthew and bid him farewell as our Senior Pastor. It will be a big day at St Matthew with celebrating happening morning and night!

Memory Book for Pastor Rob

As part of the celebration, we’re putting together a professionally-produced book of memories of Pastor Rob’s tenure at St. Matthew. To make this gift extra special, we need everyone’s help. Please send us a favorite memory or story of Pastor, a note of thanks, or a special bible verse. Feel free to include a photo as well. There have to be some good ones out there! Please note, while we will include all messages, we can’t guarantee every photo will be included due to space constraints. All submissions are due by Sunday, April 16. Submit them here!

Sunday Morning Worship Celebration

We’re having ONE service on Sunday, May 21 at 10 AM. There will be special music and tributes to thank Pastor Rob for his service as senior pastor all these years. The service will be followed by a cake reception.

Farewell Dinner and Celebration

In the evening, we’re having a special program to honor Pastor Rob with a catered dinner and special presentations from St Matthew and the Michigan District of the LCMS.

Space will be limited at this event and tickets will go fast, so please sign up right away to reserve your spot.

We’re recommending 6th graders (confirmation age) and up at this event. Tickets are $30 per person (same price for children) and includes a catered meal, desserts, and 3 drink tickets for soft drinks, beer, wine, or select spirits, plus unlimited iced tea, lemonade, and coffee.

Tickets for the event go on sale Thursday, March 30 at 9 AM and we know they will go fast!
