SUMMARY:IRONS Holy Hunger Fast
DESCRIPTION:Extended periods have been used throughout the course of history by the saints to focus prayer and bring awareness into what we consume and what consumes us. During Lent it is a frequent discipline to “fast” from a particular food or activity.\nDuring Holy Hunger, Participants will begin a 36 hour fast Friday evening with a time of meditation and worship. Starting 8 AM Saturday, participant will be given bi–hourly meditations and scripture to focus their fast. Sunday morning will be the end of fast, which, if meaningful to you, could be broken with communion. By registering, you are committing to being cleared by your physician to take part. Tips and tricks will be given to registrants to make it as safe as possible.\nREGISTER NOW ( https://stmatthewgr.churchcenter.com/registrations/events/3780767 )\n \n \n
