Worship With Us At St. Matthew
We love to worship our God together! Everyone is welcome to join us or just come in to check it out. We think worship should be meaningful for all generations, so we now offer 2 styles of worship from the more traditional to less formal settings that celebrate timeless truth in current ways. We strive to balance our time in God’s presence to be reverent and joyful. In our Sunday morning services, We celebrate the Lord’s Supper.
Please come as you are – casual dress is ok. In any worship service you will see people in jeans, business clothes, and dress clothes. What’s most important is to be there, connecting with God and His family.
We love children. They are welcome in worship with us – we know it takes time for them to adjust. For your comfort, we offer a “cry room” at the back of the sanctuary for nursing mothers or restless toddlers and their parents. We also offer a staffed nursery during both services and during the education hour, 9:45-10:30 AM. During both the 8:30 AM and 10:45 AM services we offer Children’s Church (JAM – Jesus and Me) for children ages 3 to 4th grade.
Liturgical – Sunday at 8:30 AM
Experience classic liturgy and traditional hymns in this service. This service offers a structured church experience where the tenderness of God is proclaimed using the historic liturgies which have been developed over the centuries. Children are invited with their parents for worship.
Contemporary – Sunday at 10:45 AM (10:00 AM July 2 – September 10)
Experience contemporary music, dramas and a message that makes God’s Word relevant in your life aimed at helping you learn and apply the truths in the Bible. Children are invited with their parents for worship.
